Anyone got any recommendations for one which is not too pink / ugly, is reasonably durable, is not too huge? Thanks

toys r us one here is great, we got it 2 yrs ago for DTs, removed alot of the fiddly bits at the time tho (like the vase of flowers, wine glasses etc!)

Thanks, duckyfuzz, that is nice and a v good price. Having moaned about pink, wouldn't actually mind one which was painted though. But will definitely ponder that one; be good nto to have to buy all the bits separately...

it is paintable, if you can be bothered - we painted ours cream with a red roof (because we happened to have the paint left over!)

If you like Playmobil, try the Modern House!

DD has one & you can even get a lighting kit for it- she also never seems to grow out of it
