17th A Christmas Tree
18th A socking

Had to do two in one day as DH never remembers if I'm not around. Why can't they think of these things!!!

Still have toothache

SnowMuchToBits · 18/12/2008 23:00

Don't talk to me about dh s and advent calendars! We had an extra (small) advent calendar which a friend sent to ds. Ds generously decided that as he already had a full-size advent calendar and a Lego one, his dad could open the small one. Most days dh has forgotten, so ds has had to open it anyway!

DH loves telling tales of old about his childhood Christmas. But does nothing towards preparing for his DS! Never mind I'm going to hide this years horrible tree lights that he brought because I thought he needed to make some decisions! I'm going to loose them next year and get the set I like. SO there. Only 7 days to go

SnowMuchToBits · 18/12/2008 23:14

Ah, well, my dh doesn't bother much about Christmas. The down side is that I have to organise everything, but the good part is at least I can choose what I like in the way of decorations etc!

SnowMuchToBits Thank you for asking but no. I'm going to the dentist late afternoon for a 1 hour's work on the tooth. Everyone pls pls tell your little ones NOT to eat too many sweet this Christmas and brush their teeth. Mum's & dad's double check that your little ones really need the work I am sure I'm the victim of 1970's NHS practices of drilling for gold!
Anyway we spent the night with friends to hear carol singers from Winchester cathedral wonderful. Strongly recommend! DS is a sleep now as he had a wild time with our friend's kids. Three kids in one single bed looked like puppies in a basket so cute.
So get back to you later on what we had on our advent calendar.
