If you are going to send me a Christmas card, at least be bothered to write something in it!

Is it me, or am I just grouchy - I received on Sat my first christmas card from a friend who I don't see anymore as I've moved away, but we keep in touch by phone/email. Address labels are printed out on the pc, fair enough, to save time.

At least she could have written a short greeting, and not just put her name at the bottom or the card, or can't people be bothered anymore!!!

I've gone one step further, I'm not sending any. I hate writing them and they are bloody waste of paper. I can't be bothered anymore.

I agree, what on earth is the point.

Get your own back by sending one back to her with no stamp on it either so she'll have to traipse down the PO in her lunch house to pay the excess postage, thinking it's something important.

Oh dear I;ve just done exactly that!

But in my defence, they have gone accompanied with christening invites and it took me 3 hours to write 40 cards/invites last night....
