How do you wrap your gift Christmas puddings?

I have made all my puddings now and I am not sure how to wrap them. They are in little ceramic pudding basins and I am not sure whether to leave them in (and ask for them back once puddings have been consumed) or take them out. I read about someone wrapping them in festive tea towels, but I thought they might get a bit greasy.

What do you do with yours?

I would leave them in the basins and let them keep them. unless they offered them back in which case I would say yes please.
not sure you can take them out... what would you put them in instead?

festive tea towel would work I think. or some coloured cellophane tied at the top with ribbon?
or, my preferred way, a bodge job with wreapping paper and lots of sellotape???

Keep them in the basins. You could either cut a small circle of christmas fabric and just cover the top and tie with raffia, or use a large circle and wrap the whole pudding tied on the top.

Thanks for the ideas.
