I know!

DCs are 9, 12 and 14 you'd think they'd had enough of this stuff wouldn't you?

KatyMac · 30/11/2008 19:49

Oh damn

Ours is in the attic & I can't get in without DH - he won't be back until about 4am......& I don't think he will be in the mood to go climbing

oxocube · 30/11/2008 19:51

cheers, my mum bought them about a month ago and I'd forgotten about them

Nemostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 30/11/2008 19:52

PurplePillow · 30/11/2008 19:55

[Bad mummy emoticon]

I have left my dd's calender with the christmas presents at my mums and cannot get it until tomorrow

Think dd will forgive me (I hope)

Earlybird · 30/11/2008 19:57

Thanks for the reminder. Just found ours - it was put away for safekeeping, and I had to spend 15 mins looking for it!

babbi · 30/11/2008 20:09

Thanks , I had forgotten too !!

bigTillyMint · 30/11/2008 20:12

and i'd just sat down to mn-farewell my friends i may be a long whileas i'm not tchnically minded

DingDongDisasterAreaOnHigh · 30/11/2008 20:17

arse. usually forget and have to buy the only one left in town - standing joke in our house that the DDs have had the same calendar for 5 years running.
this year have got nice ones about 2 months ago.
do you think i can find the bloody things?

bollockbrain · 30/11/2008 20:18

i have to dash out and buy 3 in the morning. kept meaning to get them and clean forgot at the weekend. Tonight the dc have said they will be opening them in the morning but i could find some reduced ones tommo

Guadalupe · 30/11/2008 20:20

Dd has been counting down the days. They were hung and ready for tomorrow first thing this morning. I don't know how she'll cope waiting for Christmas itself to arrive.

Hulababy · 30/11/2008 20:25

The Playmobil one has been on the wall since Monday when I got round to putting it all together. The chocolate Hannah Montana DD also has (from grandparents) is out on the bookcase as of tonigth too.

mumto2andnomore · 30/11/2008 20:28

We have playmobil ones too they are on their 3rd year so good value for money. They have a choccie one each too. Think Christmas comes really quickly once they start opening the doors.

mysonsmummy · 30/11/2008 20:29

we have got the lego and playmobil ones. thank you so much for reminding us will ge them out now.

Hulababy · 30/11/2008 20:35

You asre good to recycle the Playobil ones! The Playmobil bits from ours (after Christmas) go into a box with the previous years and DD plays with them. The box, etc. goes in the bin. I couldn't cope with putting away til next year - I would forgot or lose it.

melpomene · 30/11/2008 20:36

Off now to put the Playmobil one together. Dh has promised to help

Nemostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 30/11/2008 20:39

Ds playmobil is on its third year..the dds is new this year as at 2 and 3 they are just old enough

mysonsmummy · 30/11/2008 21:05

omg just seen the playmobile one - didn't realise you had to put it together.

thought it was like to lego one and come ready made.

last year i didnt realise the box opened outwards on the lego one and you didnt have to actually take the tray out. this was after i had taken the tray out and without realising had put it back in the wrong way round. ds would open a day and the picture was differnt to the thing inside to be made up. didn't let on to him though. lol

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 30/11/2008 21:24

Have just taken mine off the top of the fridge and they feel very warm choc ones!
Have just put them outside to solidify again so may have some interesting shapes next week

bollockbrain · 01/12/2008 15:42

would just like to say that although i was very naughty in not getting them on time, we whisked off to the shop today and got lovely cadbury ones for a quid each. Result, when you have 3 dc

Flamesparrow · 01/12/2008 15:47

Needed this thread to pop up when I was on LAST NIGHT.

Settled DS down with crisps and mr tumble so I could tie on f*ckin chocolates (and because I hadn't checked them, half of the are ones with no ties, so I had to tie stumpy ribbons round wide waisted snowmen )

Flamesparrow · 01/12/2008 15:47

Oh AND DD announced this morning that she wanted one with doors as well as the cloth one, so HSM is on my wall Nothing says Christmas like Troy and Gabriella....
