have wrapped everything... wrote all of my cards AND to top it all I spent a toatl of £150 on 8 people am skint this year but am very pleased with myself!

So what else can I do feel like christmas is ages away now!

This happens every single year...Oh I really must go now, I cant even talk about xmas to my friends, the panic starts to set in so I just will not talk about it. Sort of works, but I cant get away from the bloody adverts or xmas getting rammed down my throat when I go shopping.

The kids have always thought that I leave all presents at my friends so they wont find them, lol. Works for me. But if you see a woman who looks like she is running around like a demented banshee, then that will more than likely be me!

That doesn't sound like you've REALLY finished to be honest! What about the teachers, the teaching assistants, the staff at the creche, the woman who gives your son a lift home from cubs and so on and so on and so on!!!

I am so smug I've put on my christmas jumper (geansai nollag) and it is bright red with white snowflakes. I have also got parcel ready to send to God child in Uk and nephew and niece in America. I am soooooooooo smug.

I started shopping very early this year as was determined not to have December shopping panic, and am now 80% done. Was feeling quite pleased with myself until yesterday when it was announced by the family matriarch that everyone has decided to give pressies to children only this year due to the economy. I'm now 'stuck' with alot of 'thoughtful' presents that may or may not 'keep' for future occasions.........
