i have a sewing machine and some red material.
is a robe thing and a crown all that's required?
i mean i can do a western type king esy peasy, but where would i start with something more authentic-ish?
i have to do it this weekend.......

Suspect a cloak and a crown are what they mean, but if you made an a-line long-sleeve tunic shape robe (maybe give it a kaftan-esque key-hole shape at the neck), and then used some gold braid/cord/ribbon to make a frogging detail on teh neckline, that would look good, a bit auff-entic, but also wouldn't be too fiddly to do.

some inspiration?

Crikey - ds is wearing a robe and crown from Woolies with pyjamas underneath

Then again, there are apparently Six Wise Men in his nativity, so I'm not sure authenticity is the major concern
