I have 4 BILs to buy for - mid-30s to early 40s. £10 budget each. Don't know them very well, really, so always find them very difficult to buy for. Any suggestions?

My BILs are the about the same age and are getting presents from Oxfam unwrapped (goat, school books, lambs, etc for ppl. in developing countries) as I don't know their tastes in order to choose an actual present and at least this way my money isn't wasted. I would suggest doing the same. I mentioned it to dh and my parents and they all think it's a good idea and said they wanted something from Oxfam unwrapped too. Lots of different ideas on website for all different budgets including £10.

Wind up torch, multi tool thing (like a swiss army knife) set of torches, desk tidy, cufflink box, heated ice scraper mitt for the car, nice bottle of wine, hip flask, wallet, hankerchiefs, USB pen for computer.

If they have a sense of humour then this looks fun or have a look at other ideas on this site.

Thanks all for these suggestions.

Primigravida, I think I still have to go the pointless tat route for at least one more year. DH's side of the family probably wouldn't mind not actually having anything to unwrap, but my sisters would take it as a personal slight if I opted not to buy for their DHs. Oh the joys of family politics!

Thanks for that link, Smartiejake. It may well sort the problem!
