in nativity at play school.she's nearly 4 and i'm so excited.she doesn't have to say anything[although i'm sure she will]but she's been singing carols all day that they've got to sing.better take some tissues stuff like that reduces me to tears.

oh . dd1 is but a snowflake.

I'm working on my powerbase to get dd1 on the donkey at the Christmas eve service (when she is 7). I have 3 years to go, I don't think my annual chutney gift is cutting the mustard as it were with the rector. Next year is going to call for a more radical gift.

only found out about it today although dd told us last week but we didn't believe her .the parts the dc's get depend on their age.only a small playgroup so at least everyone gets a part which is nice.

Not to take away from your moment. But ds (also 3) is The Christmas Star. As in, the lead role in the play of the same name. He's pleased, I'm over the moon, but he has said he is disappointed not to be a dinosaur.

You may find you don't cry because you are so busy sharpening your elbows to get front row seats, you won't have time to cry.
