Xmas "do" For 25 people who don't really know each other-Help!

25 Mums from school getting together in a local gastro-pub.

I have arranged it,what can I do to make things go with a swing?

Not done secret santa-maybe a mistake?

Are there any round the table games or anything we can do to inject a bit more fun into the evening?

Any ideas gratefully received

Get them to tell you one "naughty" or "nice" thing they have done in the past. List on piece of paper and get people to guess who is who.

Depends on crowd though... can be fun way of getting to know people.

what about everyone revealing their pornstar name you use the name of your first pet with your mothers maiden name, usually creates a few laughs.

Don't know how everyone would feel about the usage of the word pornstar but can't think of a better word this time in the morning

I wouldn't - alcohol should suffice. I avoid "icebreakers" like the plague - that is like being on a course!

You could still do Secret santa - tell everyone to bring along 1 £5 present and pop them all in a bin bag. then draw pout names 1 by 1 and they get a lucky dip. You are allowed to put your own gift back in if you accidentally pull it out - unless you really want it of course!
