GLASGOW / EDINBURGH Christmas markets - know when they start?

Glasgow one has started. It's along Argyle St, at M&S. It's not very festive TBH. It just seems to be waffles and hotdogs.

I've never been impressed with Glasgow one; suspect it won't be much this year, as they are rebuilding St Enoch Centre.

Problem is, it's not much like a German one, at all- there are a few stalls of German stuff, but not the lovely Kringel/ Lebkuchen/ wooden carved ornaments/ gluhwein that you would get in Germany. I bet all the "quality" stallholders are busy in Germany!

Hi think I heard on the Radio that the Edinburgh one starts Thursday when they switch the lights on - not sure if this Thurs or next - full details on the Radio Forth website
