I'm after making a couple for my dp, just tea bag sized. I think you fill them with rice...but how long should you microwave them for before they will explode or singe...? Any tips on fabric or owt else?

May have to disappear as promised Scrabble..I am so rock and roll..but would be really grateful for any tips!!

Thank you in advance! xxxx

I didn't know you could use rice the ones I've had have been wheat.

I've made them with rice before, works really well, just make sure they don't get damp. Heat in microwave for about 2-3 minutes. I used a cotton fabric and made little flannel covers.

We put an egg cup of water in the microwave when heating them - it stops the rice/wheat/fabric from drying out and burning!
