I know these pressie ideas threads are two to the dozen here, so sorry, but I want to buy some xmas pressies for friends dcs. just a token gesture, set £5 budget for each.
as mum of a 13mth old, i have no idea what to get or even where to start!
any ideas or thoughts very gratefully received. the younger one used to be into thomas, but i guess he has probably grown out of this now!?
cheers

I would buy the 3 1/2 year old Duck in a Truck and would get the 5 1/2 year old a Horrid Henry book if he is a boisterous lad and The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark if he is a bit more sensitive. All fab books - can't remember authors off the top of my head but you can type book titles into Amazon.
If you don't want to get books then have a look at Hawkins Bazaar website. Lots of fab stuff for about £5 - what about a magic trick for the older one?

I have 5.5 DS - he would like action type figure (powerrangers, ben10, transformer, spiderman etc), torch, books such as usborne non-fiction books, football, crafty stuff such as shrinklies, lego
3.5 I would buy lego/duplo, books, any sort of digger, tractor, train type toy - you can get those v.cheaply in the supermarkets usually.
Hope that helps

BEN 10 for the 5.5 yo! I work in year 1 and they're ALL into Ben 10!! You can get Ben 10 towlels and things for about £5 if he's into swimming as the figures are around £7-8. Friend said the Entertainer was doing the figs for £5 at the moment though.
