Help, dh put up fairy lights already and its only 24th Nov

dd and I did a bit of mum/daughter bonding yesterday and went xmas shopping, had lunch etc. This was suggested by dh.

Came home to find devious dh and delibrately suggested we go shopping so he could put up xmas lights on the balcony (live in 9th floor flat). It is only Nov, fgs!!!

i have just put up a string of icicle lights inside my living room window! i do this with good reason- if i stash them away somewhere now i will guarantee that i will never find them again until after christmas. and to be fair they are not really christmassy, just plain white icicles.
