6 years ago as a surprise for my then 4yr old daughter we bought a pretty pink mosquitoe type net to go over her bed, not sure what you call them! What we did was before Christmas Day my DH put a hook in the ceiling aove the bed ready, she didn`t notice it amongst all her paper chains! Then on Christmas Eve when she was fast asleep we put it up, draped it round her bed, not fully, and I added some sparkly butterfly stickers as she loves butterflies!. It was just magic to hear her in the morning when she woke up, she still has it up there now.

How sweet!
For all three of them?
Wasn't it you Triplets who dressed them up in fancy dress while they were sleeping?I loved that!

pinkbubble · 22/11/2008 22:14

Hi Triplets, that was a lovely thing to do. I was a boring Mummy and just put one up with DD knowing! Wish I had thought of that!

triplets · 22/11/2008 22:14

Not all three moondog, just Becs but thinking about it now I could do it now for the 2 boys as they are army mad atm, and I know you can buy a camouflage net, they`d love that! Yep, I like to surprise them!

Oh sorry, thought you had 3 girls!
How are they btw?
Triplets sound so amazing!

pinkbubble · 22/11/2008 22:19

Triplets have you decided yet what schools your DC are going to? We are still in total chaos here!

triplets · 22/11/2008 22:22

Well they are amazing but boy are they hard work! As babies and toddlers it (believe it or not) they were so easy, it was bliss. They will be 11 in Jan and the last 2 years has been a struggle, esp this year since their Dad is fighting cancer. I have some pics on my profile if you want a peek! They are all so different, each teacher gets worried when they first start a new class. After the first week they all say they cannot belive they are related! But they are very special, then I would say that wouldn`t I?

Only reason why I was asking, was that I had seen you at a parents evening to the School I may be sending DD2 to. It began with a W!

triplets · 22/11/2008 22:27

Pinkbubble.........are you going to tell me who you are? I am intrugued as we have talked before and I still sometimes think you are pinkchampagne? Anyway, all three are off to Walmer Science, we really did not have alot of choice as
1 they didnt sit the Kent test 2 I need them to be able to walk to school 3 Their Dad is very ill and I need to make my life as stress free as poss. 4 They liked it when we visited and I felt good about it! 5 We did consider Sandwich Tec, but would not have got 3 places I am sure, and also couldnt afford the train costs!

What school is your daughter at now Pink?

OP posts:
pinkbubble · 22/11/2008 22:32

No I am not Pinkchampagne, just a really good friend of hers! I also work with her.
The only reason I was wondering where they were going as my DD2 is the same age, and thought it would be funny if they became naturally!
I do have an older daughter at Walmer and she is very happy!

I am too shy to say hi! Honest I am not a stalker!

Are yours in the Snow White Dapa show early next yr?

pinkbubble · 22/11/2008 22:32

DD1 is at Walmer

DD2 and DD3 are at The Downs

triplets · 22/11/2008 22:37

Ahhhhhhhhhhh the lady at Tides? Please say hello to me I am not scary! How is PC, she is a mutual friend of my friend Tessiebear! It would be nice for our girls to get to know each other before they start. Becca is abit upset at the moment as her best three friends are not going to Walmer, she is really going to miss them. Also the three will be split up for the first time, at Kingsdown there is just one class for each year. It will be strange for them, but I hope good for them.

pinkbubble · 22/11/2008 22:40

I actually live nextdoor but one to Tessiebears parents (thats if you know where they live!)

We could always meet up, DD2 is a real sweetie!

I think its always a good thing to know as many different faces before they start a new school!

triplets · 22/11/2008 22:44

Yes I know where they live! Perhaps we could meet at Tides one day, I took the trio last Sun in desperation as their Dad needed some peace, the boys play together but Becs just floats about on her own, whilst I read and try to relax ho ho!

We are actually doing the Dip and Dine on Friday if you want to join us? have been promising DDs for ages!

triplets · 22/11/2008 22:46

So is DD1 happy at Walmer, and are you happy with the school?

OP posts:
pinkbubble · 22/11/2008 22:46

Sorry, just realised I have hi jacked your thread!

triplets · 22/11/2008 22:47

Never heard of it! What is it?

OP posts:
pinkbubble · 22/11/2008 22:50

Yes, overall I am. DD1 went into that school just scraping through on just level 4 on everything. She is now in top set for English and Science. She also goes to Thanet College for 1 day a week.

She is in YR10.

Its a bit of a long story for DD2, but to be honest, I think that is where she will end up going!

pinkbubble · 22/11/2008 22:51

What Dip and Dine?

pinkbubble · 22/11/2008 23:16

Off to bed in a mo!
Dip and Dine is at Tides. (starts about 4pm)

They swim for about an hour or so, then they have junk burger/sausage/veggieburger and chips oh and plus a drink. Its not that expensive around about £4 each (if that!).

triplets · 22/11/2008 23:56

Sorry ,I got side tracked, did you say Frids? Are there not swimming lessons on then? Will try and catch you tomorrow, night night.

OP posts:
pinkbubble · 23/11/2008 08:57

Oh please don't say that! Pretty sure there aren't though as we have done dip and dine before on a Friday. I will ring and check later.
