any recommendations for a book of the nativity for 2 year old?

would be grateful if you'd let me know your favourites. - preferably one with lovely pics, where mary joseph etc are not all anglo saxon and its not snowing all over the holy land.

www.amazon.com/First-Christmas-Allia-Zobel-Nolan/dp/082545509X we have this one. The rhyming story is a bit but the pics are sweet and the characters are puzzle pieces. Perfect for a 2yo.
The people are quite white though.

This is a wonderful Christmas book

It has nice pictures and not too white I don't think. No mention of who Jesus is though!

i bought a lovely one in M & S for a fiver...just the basic story and a wee tune to boot..

WE have this one - although we certainly didn't pay £21 for it . Think I bought it in Waterstone's or something. Bought it when dd1 was about 2; she's 7 now and still enjoys it and dd2 (3) has just discovered it too and loves the detail to the pictures and lifting the little flaps. Fab version and the characters look like they are actually from the middle east, not the west country!
