Best board game for 14 and 12 year old siblings?

One girl one boy.

Also have 2 sisters to buy for who are 15 and 11, so would be great if it was suitable for them too.

Want to avoid anything so obviously popular that they are likely to have it already.

Only idea so far is trax from Lakeland. Anyone have this?

Absolute balderdash is a hoot. Works best if there are about 8 people playing (you couldn't play it with 2). We've played it a few times with our dc (12 and 10) and with friends and their dc (13 and 12)

DS1 loves Articulate..

I want to play Articulate! Am thinking that that might be good for the two girls, as they have other family that they regularly see to play with, but the other two don't, so of the 3 options so far dh is still favouring trax (it's his family).

Cranium? It goes down well with my two who are 12 and 13. In fact, we went through a now thankfully ended phase of playing it every week.
