made them last year and plan to do one every year til ds and dd are too big to be willing. You draw around child's foot. Turn the footprint upside down so that the toes look like the bottom of the angel's robe. Put handprints either side of the heel of the footprint to make wings. Kids then cover in glue and glitter.

I am/or was (not returning after Maternity leave) a Nursery teacher and have done this many times.
Always very cute.

Another one is a Reindeer. Same foot print for the body but add a red nose and antlers. I add a tiny bell round its neck for a little something extra.

Or Xmas tree. Green handprint turned upside down. Children then decorate adding stickers and sequins as Baubles. Add a star on top of the tree.

My DD is only 4mths but will def being doing these next year.

We've just done a Santa handprint-turned out brilliant. Paint tip of thumb white (booble of santa's hat)Paint bottom of hand red (from thumb and along the bottom this will make his hat) then paint palm of hand pink for his face and fingers white for his beard. For best results print onto sky blue card. When dry you can draw on his features. Looks so cute.
