6.00am Wake up around ,watch lo's open gofts and stockings.
6.30am Find myself surrounded by hours worth of carefully wrapped paper strewn around living room and listen to the first of many arguments and requests to open every single present at once .
7.00am Swear at toy companies and the bloody silly tie things they wrap round toys .
8.00 Fingers numb from untying toys I realise I have not seen dp for quite sometime ,find him outside and bollock him for hiding in garden with dog.
10.00 am Make way on foot to parents house with 5 overtired children all clutching new toys which I end up carrying halfway there .
10.20am Arrive at mums and stay for two hours ,occasionally give dp warning glances everytime my dad mentions pre dinner drinks at the pub ,listen to mum and dad row over the fact my dad is stood in the kitchen instead of the room . Sister arrives and upstages everyones gifts .
1.00pm hide in toilet and cry, drink glass of wine.
2.00pm eat dinner handle at least four rows over crackers and hats ,stop dog choking on cracker toys .
3.00pm fall asleep in fromt of top of the pops .
3.15 Rudely woke up by wails about lost pieces to toy or game .
4.00pm bollock dp for hiding in garden and go to hide in toilet with wine again.
4.30pm first child pukes from too much chocolate.
5.00pm worry about pukey child even though I know its too much chocolate ,drink wine .
6.00pm Sit down to watch TAT on tv.
8.00pm Put kids and new toys to bed ,finish wine hunt for 7 outfits for boxing day shout at dp for not helping ,trip over last remains of wrapping paper ,wrap up tat I don't like to give to people on boxing day.
10pm Swear next xmas will be different ,sleep .
