World Vision or Tear fund gifts for rellies

Does anyone else use these gifts for relatives or is it just available in Oz? My kids preschool teachers valued a gift of "training a teacher" who worked with disabled children in a third-world country. My aunt loves getting the gift of a village well with clean water. Otherwise I found I was buying rubbish for aunts and uncles and extended family. I discovered that for $5 I can buy school supplies for a child in a disadvantaged community in the third world. It's good for a secret santa too. That's with Tear Australia (www.usefulgifts.org ) but I know these catalogues exist for other organisations like World Vision - I think even the UN has one?

Like Oxfam Unwrapped?

I found out the UN one is UNICEF and it has cards etc to buy rather than directly buying something for a child, but the money goes to kids in need.

Or other charity gifts?

Thanks for that last link, littleFairySmile (cute nickname by the way). That website is excellent!
