"big box" presents

I'm looking for ideas on "big" presents for my boys. As they're getting older, their presents seem to be shrinking in size (not price!) and it doesn't look like they have much...but 4 xbox games adds up to £90!

Any ideas on "big" presents I can buy them that will look exciting on christmas day?

DS1 has asked for PSP games this year, and they are teeny for the price, so I am wrapping them in a shoe box each......makes up the size under the tree that way

a bean bag

going on from psycho's idea, you could fill the shoebox with something cheap but fun like marbles, and then put that in a bigger box padded with ... well, I don't know what but you get the idea.

a football/ beach ball/ rugbyball

those huge tacky novelty slippers, simpsons ones for example
