I don't know what to get my daughter for xmas. She has LOADS of clothes, LOADS of toys and LOADS of teddies.

Thanks to pavlov the cat we've decided that we're going to get her something as a tradition each year. Although I don't know what yet. Was thinking of a different Angel for the top of the tree but not sure.

So as we are going to get her 2 presents this year can anyone suggest something else we can get her that isn't toys/clothes/teddies and something she can have all year around.

A child's chair. GLTC, letterbox, "kids chairs www.just4kidz.co.uk/range-rocking.asp", Ikea do a child's version of their Pjong(spelling?) chair.

Something that she can grow into and will be a keepsake too. Remember she is too young to know what is going on! What about a classic hard back book like Peepo, Each Peach Pear Plum, the hungry caterpillar, etc... My 2 DD love those books. Does she need anything for her room?

Hope that helps.

She's got a chair upstairs (a handed down type thing with a horses head attached to it so it's like a rocking horse)

She's got LOADS of board books cos she LOVES books.

As for things for her room its not finished yet. But I think once its done she's pretty much got everything although I could look around more as there maybe something that i've missed once its up but it is a tiny box room so I need to keep it as clutter free as possible and not easy with this many bloody toys - we've hundreds downstairs now too!!

For dd1's first Christmas, or birthday, I forget which as they are quite close, we got her a really lovely clock for her bedroom. It lasted for about ten years.

Otherwise perhaps a really nice china cup and bowl? Or cutlery with her name on?

Thanks twinkly but we wanted something non xmassy as we're getting a xmassy one as well.
