Absolutely fabulous advent calenders

Got 3 of these today

advent calenders

They are fabulous for kids over 9 - just to try to keep xmas magic for older kids. They are well made and the boxes are big enough for really special little gifts, like rubbers, hairslides, little nail varnishes, miniature bubbles.

You could fill every box and still not put any chocolate in and just as great for boys too.

Phew, Next should give me commission.

Has anyone seen a cheaper version where there are boxes as opposed to little pockets for gifts?

I saw some in the window of matalan as I drove past - they are probably cheap (it being Matalan).

I ordered a sleigh one from Cotswold Co for £9 today. They're on sale at the moment but not sure for how long. They had lots of Christmas stuff reduced.

Tesco have a little wooden house with drawers for £6.
