I know there have been a couple of threads posted about it on here, but they were ages ago. I am looking for the name of the company that makes jewellery with children's fingerprints. Can anyone remember it? Ta

This is one place : Little Pinkies. I haven't used them myself, but was looking for a friend. Otherwise, try googling fingerprint jewellery.
Happy shopping!

Protocol Jewellery is another one I've seen recommended on here.

Ah yes, it was pastel print. Are footprints on cufflinks tacky or a nice present? I quite like them but worry my judgement is distorted because I think everything about my dd is perfect

oh, prints of my dd's feet, not cufflinks for my dd...

I've seen them I know the woman who does them - I love the handprint/footprints more than the finger prints - I think they look great!

Bessie123 · 12/11/2008 11:05

The woman must live near you - right? Please tell her to get back home now and take my call. This is going to be such a good way of getting my xmas presents sorted early. [smug]

I got some lovely cufflinks for DH as a wedding present, with fingerprints from the dcs!! They were from smallprint. Very lovely, bit pricey, but I was sooo impressed!!

sagacious · 12/11/2008 11:11

The lady came to our house to do the print. My ds was only 18 weeks at the time and was very difficult to print. We had to cut his nails too as they make an impresion!! The older children had a better print though, very clear.

Kewcumber · 12/11/2008 12:53

bessie she runs a painting class that DS occaionally goes to. Sorry don;t know her well enough to demand she instantly rushes home for you!

kiwibella · 12/11/2008 13:18

I just spoke to them on the phone! This is a wonderful idea... my dh is going to be so surprised ;)

MiaWallace · 12/11/2008 16:15

Does anyone know the company that makes jewellery out of your children's art work?

Kewcumber · 12/11/2008 16:19

mia - pastel prints do that too on the website.

SugaryBits · 12/11/2008 16:21

I met the lovely Alyson from Pastel Prints today... thank you so much for posting the link! They were surrounded by orders and the phone didn't stop ringing in the short time we were there. I got my girls hand-prints taken and we are very excited for Daddy's cufflinks to be made.
