Is he old enough to play tiddlywinks or cross 4, or what other nice games are there that I can get him? I want to play more with him, and he hasnt got any 'games'except a matching card game.

orchard games are fab for this age. My ds and I still play shopping list and he's 7, we've even got the french version as he does french at school

I was going to say Orchard games too! DD, and dsd when she was younger, love the Washing Machine Game.

We had a wonderful game that consisted of a couple of boards of photographs of everyday objects, and a cassette of matching sounds (nowadays it would be a CD). You play the sounds and the child matches them to the pictures. My dss loved it.

Snakes and ladders was ds2s favourite game when he was 2.6 till he was about 5.

Floor puzzles are good too.

Picture dominoes, and those games where you collect parts of an animal or fish according to the numbers on the dice are good.

DDs favourite game for about 4 years was "Build a beetle". You throw the dice and collect the parts of the beetle, and fit them together to make a 3dimensional model.

I agree with those that mentioned Orchard Games. Tummy ache is still a firm favourite with my Ds1 (7).

Also,DS2 (3.6) loves PopUp Pirate (although beware as the pirate comes flying out...), Buckeroo,Manic Martians and Jitter Bugs (I think it's called). The last 2 are from ELC.

Another fan of Orchard toys here too, DS has aquired most of their collection now and they are all great. He loves Tummy Ache, Insey Winsey and Crazy Chefs.

Great quality and good for storage as no real excess packaging, quick to set up and put away again.

We had a catalogue the other day and there are some new addtions so Santa got busy

Millions. Junior Monopoly, operation, lotto, buckaroo, sally the sunflower, screwball scramble, kerplunk, two-by-two. In fact I could just tip my DS2' bedroom into your house if you like. He is 3 and loves boardgames.

OHHHHHHH Thanks! I had never heard of Orchard, have just googled them. Brilliant, thanks for the names of all the games, he will really like them.
