CD recommendations - children's songs and kiddie pop

I fancy putting some new CDs under the Christmas tree for my two music-loving girls. Anyone got any good recommendations for:

  • a CD of children's songs - NOT nursery rhymes, but not pop music - that might appeal to the three year old.

and/or

  • a CD of pop music that my six yo will enjoy dancing to, but with lyrics that I will be happy for her to sing in church

PS Am not proposing that she stands up and sings a solo - just that once a song is in her head it will keep coming out of her mouth at every available opportunity. And as I'm employed as a Christian children's worker, I'd like the lyrics to be "nice"!

Hey - sorry, it's a bit late for christmas, but have you ever heard of mr myles music? my kids are going to his workshop in Oxford over easter, and he's got some great original songs which aren't pop exactly, but they're more sophisticated than the boring old nursery ryhmes - check out mrmylesmusic.co.uk, you can listen to them before you buy which is great!
