Mushroom wellington (wild mushrooms and nuts encased in pastry served with a cramy mushroom and chive sauce)

If the rest are having a roast turkey, how about a quorn roast (rolled piece of quorn) which you pop into the oven and slice up and i will look just like turkey. It's quite nice we have it instead of a chicken sometimes for sunday roast.

I am going to do something like COV's suggestion. DO you have a link, COV? I found one but seem to have not saved it.

Ths is the recipe I use, it makes enough for about 10-12 people, but you can do it as an individual portion.

Thanks COV. I'm going to make it in a couple of weeks when my sister visits for an early christmas.

Delia's festive nut roast is fab. Really yummy and not dry like some of them can be. The recipe I used is really old but I'm sure you could google it.
