You have to have paid for the item (i.e. not a freebie)

I did several bargains with my nieces present:

£2 for a really nice t shirt from Hennes. 70% off. no postage.
I got my niece a Hello Kitty toiletry bag (£2 at half price) and a Hello Kitty make up purse (£1.50 at half price) and some Hello Kitty bodylotion and shower cream) I spent a total of £8 for her present from me, my dh and our sons.

Was reduced from £1 to 50p to 25p but actually went through checkout at 1p!

Blimey, that is a bargain! Don't think anyone can beat you there!!

DoNotAttempttoblowupparliament · 07/11/2008 14:38

But you have to tell us what it IS!

Is it in the same league as a Hennes Tshirt, or hello kitty wash bags?

DoNotAttempttoblowupparliament · 07/11/2008 16:14

Well no but.........it was still a penny.

I will ltell (after bedtime cos there are eyes behind me )

OK....it was a set of vampire fangs....but DTDs will be over the moon with them and that what counts

LOL

I missed this - I got DN a book for 20p from the charity shop. It was unread. However I felt a bit cheap so gave it to him when I saw him last week as a treat and he loved it. Who needs PS3s when a 20p book on Juggling will entertain an 8 year old instead
