Hi,

I am so loving this Christmas thread!!!

Thank you so much everyone for all the wonderful and original gift ideas.

I have decided to do some homemade hampers this year and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get affordable baskets or simalar to hold all the goodies?

Also where are you all buying these jars for the cookies?

Thanks

Morrisons? Home Bargains?

I made them for a lot of relatives last year; I thoroughly enjoyed it, and they were very well received.

I am also looking for baskets for hampers that my husband and I do each year for his charity. The past two years I have bought really nice baskets in Poundland but they don't seem to have them this year so I have been searching with no sucess so far.

why not get some nice hessian bags from the supermarket, so they can be re-used for shopping over the year? thats what i am doing.

i dont buy jars for the cookies, i save my coffee jars, wash them out and glue a nice bit of fabric onto the lids.

Wikinsons do them cheaply.

Also Ikea but I don't think you can buy them online, you have to go instore.
