Thanks for those two. At this rate I'm going to save myself the £10 I was planning on spending on the Usborne Christmas craft book!

Make your own paperchains using foil gift wrap cut into strips, stick each link together with sellotape. Glue sequins on for added glitz. Very cheap and attractive, and don't come apart as easily as the gummed paper type.
