No big deal but annoying. I was all set to buy some lovely traditional non-choc advent calendars this year. Until my mum announces in a stage whisper 'No need to get any calendars this year. I've bought some chocolate ones!' DC heard and 3 little sets of ears pricked up so I can't hide them and buy ones I like.
We've had a discussion on this very subject most years. I'm sure she thinks I'm just trying to save her money but the one's she buys are always cheap crap too.
So thanks mum. A little seasonal pleasure denied me .
I shall go and buy one just for me...
