Games that a 2.5 yr old and a 5 yr old can play together...suggestions plse?

Two DS's and wondering if there are games you can suggest that they can both enjoy together with or without supervision?

We have an orchard toys wildlife lotto one. Where they have to match cards to creatures on their board.

Or there is that pop up dragon thing from ELC.

Or possibly picture dominoes.

Bear in mind though that if they are left alone to play it is very likely that the 5yo will invariably win. Or is that just IME?

What about that Elephant truck hoover type blowing thing that's being advertised???? I think you have to catch butterflies in nets. Does it work?

My nephew has it and it does work although you would need to set it up and sometimes some of the butterflies get a bit stuck. Also rather doubt you 2yo would catch many although would probably enjoy trying and then cheat and pick them up off the floor.

You mean "Elefun" - I have a 2.2 and 4.10 and they will play with that quite well, although I make 4yo kneel down sometimes to give little one a chance...he isn't really that bothered about winning yet! The other one that works quite well is Cranium Hullabaloo where they get to jump around lots - 2yo doesn't really get it but they both enjoy trying!

Hungry Hippos is popular with my 2. The game needs a bit of supervision, as the 2.5 yr old doesn't always follow the rules!!

I have bought balloon lagoon by cranium for my ds. It's supposed to be fun for little ones!

We have a hungry caterpillar card game that is very popular with my 2.5 yr old and her friends. I don't think it is too simple for a 5 year old, you just have to collect all the hungry caterpillars food. Not much scope for 5 yr old cheating either and it only cost £2.99 in Sainsburys.

It says 3+ on the box but DD could play this when she was 2.5

Skills required: taking turns and matching colours.
