my ex is having ds xmas eve, and i am collecting him late on Xmas day. I want to have a second 'christmas day' on boxing day.
Ds is three but i don't want to confuse him too much by saying Santa comes twice......so i was thinking of telling him Santa delivered our presents on Christmas Eve but used magic to make them invisible until Boxing Day morning.

Do you think this is daft? any other suggestions for how to do this would be appreciated.......

We were on hols last year over xmas and didn't want to cart anything big around. My dcs (1 and 4 at time) wrote a letter to FC to ask that anything big be left at our address, but small things to our holiday address.

Maybe your son could do something similar so that the presents are there when he gets home xmas day. If you don't want him to open them until next morning, make FC put them somewhere he won't see until then (like at the end of your bed?).

how about santa delivering presents in a sack and you find the sack boxing day morning outside back door, dont explain too much let him come up with own theory.

i think maybe not offering him an explanation at all might be a good idea. He has a great imagination so will doubtless come up with his own great reasoning for it, probably involving pirates and daleks
