She is very very hard to buy for as she is very very hard to please.

However, she loves my kids to bits and so I thought I could pics of them in it, plus a pic of my brother and a pic of her cat (she loves cats more than people).

I am on strict budget and this is the only thing I have found so far that I didn't think she would immeidatly turn her nose up at.

Here

Thats lovely IB.
I'm sure she'll love it.

belgo · 02/11/2008 14:11

yes it's fine. A very thoughtful present in fact. I wouldn't get her anything else, that's enough in my opinion, especially if she has a tendancy to turn her nose up at things.

Lizzylou · 02/11/2008 14:12

I think it's lovely, I want one (and will be getting afew for presents), it looks like it cost more than £5, doesn't it?

IllegallyBrunette · 02/11/2008 14:13

Oh she does belgo. She is not one of my fave people, I will admitt, although I am trying my hardest to like her.

Thanks both, thats that sorted then .

lovely pressie.

curlywurlycremeegg · 02/11/2008 14:53

I love it, my gran had one and we (my sister and I) used to love spinning it round to the photo of "us". My sister found the same one as you have and I got one as one of my christmas gifts from her last year. Instead of putting photos of the kids in it I have photos of myself and my sister in when we were kids, just like the one my Gran had

ramonaquimby · 02/11/2008 15:22

love it! we had one as kids - mum and dad still have it up - I might have to get one myself for the dds!! thanks for linking

ramonaquimby · 02/11/2008 15:24

£5.95 delivery charges!

Tigerschick · 02/11/2008 15:32

I think that's a lovely idea
Thanks for the link - I've just ordered 4 for christmas prezzies ... @ the £5.95 delivery charge - that's why I ordered 4, to make it worth the delivery ...

IllegallyBrunette · 02/11/2008 15:49

Yeah the delivery charge is a bit steep isn't it. I am going to see if there is anything else I can get from there to make it worth it.

Have already spotted some 3d doggy playing cards for dd2.

Just noticed that Boots do this one which I don't think is quite as nice, and does cost £3 more, but they are included in the 3for2 if anyone wants to buy a few.
