Which would you prefer for slightly poncey single woman, no kids, into career.

i would have to say diary but then most people have one and candles are nice around the bath?
how about the smythson fashion book/ note book?

iirc M&S had lovely 'faux diptyque' style candles last year. I bought one for SIL and she loved it.

neither, book her a pedicure or a massage - thats what i would've wanted in the far off days when i was poncey and had a career (smythson diary LUDICROUSLY expensive for what it is and so actually i think is jo malone stuff)

Neither for me...she will probably usea blackberry or similar rather than paper diary.
