For the 2 yr old girl a small toy buggy would be ideal. I think ELC do one for a fiver. Dd got one for her first birthday and three years later its still going strong. For a 12 year old girl maybe a book? Depends what kind of things she's into

tub tints are good and very much enjoyed by the younger ones. Drop one tablet in the bath and the water changes colour. They work well too, not weak and useless.
I usually get several pots for various kids i have to buy for.
Might be slightly over you budget at £6 if i remember tho.
website is called mojo.com

john lewis have owl money boxes for £5 that look quite sweet, would be good for a boy maybe, aged 7/9/11.

MrsMattie · 26/10/2008 11:09

I'd definitely do an online shop from one place. Amazon - books/DVDs, or possibly somewhere like Hawkin's if you want something quirky.

MrsMattie · 26/10/2008 11:09

Also M&S 3 for 2 stuff isn't bad.

LostProphet · 26/10/2008 11:10

Can we add in girl 10, and girl 14 please

fivecandles · 26/10/2008 11:11

Add the money up and buy something for the whole family - cinema vouchers, WHSmith does vouchers for 8 DVDs for online rental, theatre tickets, trip somewhere etc or for a meal out. Something for whole family to enjoy with no waste or clutter.

Marne · 26/10/2008 11:13

I buy the older girls in the family something nice from boots, lip gloss, smellies etc on 3 for 2.

Books are always good for all ages, maybe a noisy book for the 2 year old.

Also those 'sea monkey's' little fishy things that you watch grow.

Craft items, play-doh, paints and sticking for the 3-6 year olds.

BONKinthenightERZ · 26/10/2008 12:57

like the idea of putting money together for the family. hadnt thought of that!!!!!!!!!!! would save a whole lot of hassle and im sure they would appreciate it!
Thanks will look into that!
