Are people spending less this year due to the Credit crunch?
How much will you be spending on your own children?
I tend to overspend on x-mas, i try and keep it to £100 per child (we have 5 between us), we give dh's children cash so they get the same amount as we spend on our children.
This year dd1 has asked for something that costs £70 as a main present but that does'nt leeve me much for smaller things and stocking fillers. I could easily spend £200+ on her but dh would'nt let me
I have sold there old toys on e-bay to make some money, do you think this would justify going over the £100?
They don't get much from family (we have a small family) and they don't get anything in the year apart from birthdays.
