I was in Fortnum & Mason today and saw a beautiful wooden advent calendar house designed like th shop front, but at a ridiculous price. Has anyone seen any nice ones around that aren't going to break the bank, please?

Ooh yes! This one in JL! It is lovely in real life, though the windows/boxes are not huge- would get a lego figure in, but probably not a playmobile one.

My mum got me one last year from Costco for about £20.

My mum bought a loevly one for my DCs last year from Costco. It has little things you hang on the doors after you open them. They may have something similar this year.

Dobbies garden centre have quite a few different ones - trains, xmas trees, nativity scenes, again not huge but big enought for a chocolate coin or sommat.
