Personalised stockings that don't cost the earth?

Looking to get some personalised stockings for my dc (aged 2 and 9mths) but don't want to pay a fortune. Love the ones in the aspen and brown website but they are so expensive. Any ideas?

I did my own last year, brought stockings, cut name out of felt, sewed on with stocking stitch.

Was stupidly easy.

Looked gorgeous. Everyone wanted to know where they were from.
