i have tried the recipe now. they are great but theres bloody loads of them. i used one tin of condensed milk, blardy loads of icing sugar, and i got 53 large sweets out of it. am waiting for them to dry now and then going to half dip them in plain chocolate. tomorrow i am getting strawberry essence and doing strawberry creams half dipped in white chocolate

Not peppermint creams but really easy

soak some coffee sugar in peppermint essence overnight

melt chocolate and add the peppermint sugar

spread the mixture thinly on to a sheet of baking paper and let it cool.

break up into small pieces.

not really into coffee sweets. really strange coz i drink coffee by the gut cant stand coffee flavoured things

Sorry - coffee sugar is sugar that comes in big crystals. It does not have a coffee flavour.

ah i see. so its like peppermint crisp type thing. early post was meant to say by the gallon not by the gut. comp went a bit thick
