Not sure if this has been done yet,but what are your favourite websites for christmas shopping?

Fortnum and Mason (probably not this year though )

Toys R Us
Early Learning centre
Boots
Ocado
Hamleys (they were not very efficient last year though, it took them 2 weeks to send my order out and didn't arrive until christmas eve. They had items missing and didn't let me know so they held on to the order without sending anything at all until I phoned them because I had been waiting for ages.)

Loving www.mywishwand.co.uk. It has all the usual retailers on board and many many more. They make suggestions, you can just shop or even make wishlists. I have done it for Xmas this year and I am nearly done!

PhantomOfTheChocolateCake · 12/10/2008 21:12

Oxfam are good for things. You should have a look. Christmas isn't just for spending and all that.

DforDiva · 12/10/2008 21:19

i buy everything from boots and m&s and get points for what i bought also get cashback too.
dont buy elc toys unless must, they are all on boots website for 3for2.

devilsavacado · 13/10/2008 14:05

Thanks everyone, will take a look at your suggestions.

My two have so many toys so am looking for art and craft type things and oxfam is a good idea for something different to the norm.

Just done some this morning. Yellowmoon.org for crafty stuff/cards/etc (some stuff 50% off at mo and they do cashback to your school assuming it's registered). M&S have got 3 for 2 on some xmas stuff. And i had a 25% off code for DK books, so i'm on a roll today!

flowerybeanbag · 15/10/2008 12:27

I just tried that wishwand site coocurly mentioned. Suggestions for my dad defined as a 60 year old arty, intellectual, book loving inquisitive male were

vintage telephone
cufflinks
Levi jeans

Not sure I'll be using them!

Flowerbeanbag

If you look at coocurly in search she has only posted about that website.

flowerybeanbag · 15/10/2008 17:30

ooh good detective work lizzie. Coocurly there is a fee for advertising on MN, and if you attempt to get free advertising, you might get people trying your website and reporting back how rubbish it is...

Nagapie · 15/10/2008 18:03

If you have money to blow and want something a bit quirky this firebox.com website never fails to amuse me...

here for example
