Dolls pushchair - cheap & cheerful or expensive wooden?

My DD (20 months) always makes a b-line towards pushchairs whenever we go to playgroups so I would like to get her one for Christmas. Question is, do I get her a cheap plastic one for a fiver in woolies, or fork out £35 for a nice wooden one? Do you think £35 is a ridiculous amount to spend on a doll's pushchair? I'm thinking (hoping) it will last forever & maybe even something she can pass on to her kids??

We have both and our daughter (now three) and all her friends go for the cheap one EVERY TIME!

We have also found that wooden ones can damage your furniture badly when rammed into it ....!

I had a feeling that might be the case! Ah well, at least it saves me £30!

She has played with the expensive one about 4 times, and the cheapo one, ooh, 400 times a day.

dds are 2.9yrs and 20mths and they have a £4 stroller, a fisher price one form a set and a tescos own that was £12. The tescos and the stroller both get a LOT of use by dolls and dds

I'd go cheap, toddlers are always trying to climb in/on these kind of buggies. At least a cheap one is easier to replace (though might break easily too I suppose) We have a £6 ELC one and it is in use everyday.

The MIL bought a wicker gorgous one (v expensive) which gathers dust.

They will sit in it and break it at some point so best to go cheapy IMO

cheap it is then ( feels mean for not buying one sooner)

We have both; only had the wooden one since Feb and it doesn't like being rammed about and has a bit of a crack appearing. I have to tighten the screws often to stop bits falling of (can't recall the brand but it's pink and yelow?). Had plastic one for years and and it's still going strong.

cheap cheap cheap and pink! It will get pushed and bashed for ever, and mine used to sit in it themselves and it still survives.

Cheap and pink, and they seem to last forever.

Cheap. DD 7.5 and the one we bought her is still going strong even though DS 3 regularly sits in it and rams it into stuff.

cheapy elc one. folds up so you can take it on bus/chuck it in back of car/take it on holiday etc. you can leave it outside and just take the cover off and wash it when it gets a bit grubby looking.

Def £5 one. My dd had one for her 1st birthday and she is now 5 and its still going strong, she still plays with it now sometimes even though she has a baby annabell pram
