Parents of girls - Baby Annabel or Baby Born? Which one is best?

I reckon Baby Born could probably take Baby Annabel in a fight, but other than that I really don't know which one to go for; both seem to have an inexhaustable supply of shite accessories, and whilst I'm mildly disturbed by Annabel's bed/car/table/cigar humidor all being sheep-shaped, she looks like the more interesting doll (all together now - Baby Annabel turns her head, oh wow! She knows her mummy now....). Baby Borns just look like your bog standard plastic dolly - apart from the swimming one, which just looks like some nightmarish freaky thang!

I know DD probably won't care which one she gets for Crimbo but thought I might canvass opinion here first before I take the plunge and buy one.

i agree with miawallace- baby millie from elc is the best. i got one for dd2 last xmas and she still loves it.

Baby Annabel definately. Baby born pee'd everywhere due to faulty valves (tried 4 of them!!!)

Baby Annabel - got a lot more play than baby Born did.

My dd's have both baby born and Annabel ...Annabel is the clear winner in terms of which they play with most. Baby born comes out at bath time and is ignored the rest of the time! Annabel is more cuddly and lovable.

Plus, she sooooooo much prettier

DD2 has been collecting babyborn stuff for 8 years. have spent a terrifyingly large amount on clothes and accessories over the years but she loves them. she now has 5 !!!!!! first was donated to her by a friend, second was adopted from DD1 who didn't like her, third was a car boot find, fourth was christmas present from granny and is the brown one and fifth and best was also from granny and is the boy one.
now she is 10 she doesn't play with them much but periodically redresses them and lines them up.
