8 year old DD Xmas gifts?

What is everyone getting their 8 year old daughters this year?

I am finding the age for gifts quite difficult! Trying to avoid technology. Any ideas?

Well I've just started yesterday. I ordered a hairdressing head thing with real hair that can be clamped to things, great reviews. A spinning chair thing, cos she loves spinning 😂

My daughter is older now, but at that age loved her babies, how about a re-born doll and pram with some cute little outfits and accessories for it.

Also, lego, arts and crafts or a pottery painting class that you could attend together. We have a pottery place/cafe near where you pick a piece of pottery to paint and they glaze it etc and you pick it up a week later.

At that age Lego and Meccano sets were a big success

My daighter is 10 and loves slime, needohs, squishies - all the stuff I hate 🤣

Mine is 7 and has asked for a Bitzee Disney. It's like a hologram, interactive pet.
I'll give it 2 days before my my DH wants to launch it out the window hahaha.

She also loves arts and crafts so we.got her the Style 4Ever scrapbooking station.

So far mines got a new bike, Lego sets, fucking slime mart bollocks that I’ll hate my self for on Boxing Day, specifically riverisland clothes and new balance trainers she also wants a specific jellycat oh and fucking clickeeez. Think she’s done but her unwrapped pile looks so sad and grown up this year.

This is my issue!! She would happily just get 100 squishes!

At 8 my daughter liked those airbrush plush or airbrush pen sets. She generally likes crafts as I had colouring books and ohulu pens on the list, air dry clay, Eugy models.
She collects squishmallows so we always give that, I don't think they are quite so popular and the more expensive jellycat brand seems to have taken over in popularity.
Sticki rolls also have come back around.

My DD(8) wants a Care Bear plush, but getting her to decide which one is proving challenging as she changes her mind every week! At the moment, she’s saying the Wicked set but I’m holding off until nearer the time.

I’m considering a Build-a-Bear wardrobe with outfits inside.

She’s getting the Clickeez advent calendar. She would love a mountain of squishies and slime but I’m not sure I can do it 🥴

I’m a bit stuck otherwise. She does love craft but doesn’t really enjoy following instructions to create something…she just loves to create whatever she wants to create. We have so many craft kits that haven’t been opened. She doesn’t like Lego (probably for same reason). I’ll get art and general craft supplies.
