Can anyone recommend one that’s good but really small, as a stocking filler?!

I’ve got the Anker Power Core Slim. It’s available from Argos for £17.99.
its about the size of an iPhone so easy to carry around.
IMO Anker power bank chargers are better quality/longer lasting than their main competitor Belkin

Thank you both, I will look at Anker!

I was wondering if there was something like a small keying sized one that just does one emergency charge if you’re caught short but can’t seem to find anything particularly small!

My DH bought a credit card sized one but it was useless. I really think theres a certain size they need to be if you want them to be reliable. I realise you only want an emergency charge but you need to be sure it will work!

Not a small one but this might be good - I have one, although I have to admit I charge it from the mains.

One of our neighbours had a massive house fire caused by one of these left on charge. So definitely buy a named brand like Anker, not a no name one, and make sure it’s not left charging overnight or for too long.

A 5000mAh power bank will be the size you want though I find 10000mAh more useful for a day out. The Anker one that size (5000mAh) has an integral plug on it to attach to the phone though I wouldn't recommend it as it can easily damage the charging port.

YY beware of the random unknown brands on amazon.

I would check places like Poundland, Primark, or B&M or TK Maxx though or supermarkets. Sometimes they have weirdly useful things, and at least if you're buying from a brick and mortar store you can be reasonably sure they pass the proper safety standards.

I bought my daughter one in Home Bargains for about a fiver, it's the size of a bar of soap, she likes it as she can get a full charge from it but it's not too heavy.
