What Christmas advent calendar to buy for myself?

I fancy a nice one for myself this year. I don't usually do chocolate as I can't have milk but do enjoy the vegan ones though. Would like something a bit different this year. Maybe tea, or candles, or any other suggestions?!

I went a little (ok a lot) overboard this year and bought the Liberty one for myself. Why not, I buy all the presents for everyone else and wanted a luxurious daily treat.

I do like the sound of a slightly more unusual one. I got a marshmallow one one year, that was interesting! The silly side of me was eyeing up the Pringle crisps one too Grin

I’ve bought myself the St Eval candle one, I like the ritual of lighting a little candle daily and drinking tea before the world wakes up.

personally, I like giving the fancy and different ones to other people, but all I want is a classic cheap chocolate one, with little doors, foil covers and shaped chocolate - pure nostalgia and childhood Christmas feelings.

If I were to do other things though, it would likely be something I would actually use every day. A coffee one would work well etc. something that I can actually do daily, and won't pile up.

Baked by Steph do a lovely vegan biscuit one (so no dairy). Or come and join us on the Beauty Advent calendar threads for some huge temptations !

I’ve also bought the St Eval one - and ever since it arrived I have had to resist opening it early Confused

What about the Bonne Maman one? It is absolutely lovely. I had one last year.

I’ve refilled an old beauty one with my favourite products for myself which will stock me up for the year, also bought a tea one.

There's a few jigsaw ones. They're quite good but only if you like doing jigsaws! Cloudberries do some nice ones.

Bonne Maman one is lovely but not sure it’s vegan, some of the little jars are caramel or chocolate spreads.

I had a tea one last year. Best December habit I have picked up in years. Kettle on, little envelope, five quiet minutes before the house wakes up.
One warning: check how many different teas are actually in there. Mine repeated the same six blends four times. Still nice. Just not 24 surprises.
The candle ones look lovely but I would burn through them too fast. Tea slows me down.

I love traditional, picture Advent calendars, so that's what I buy for myself. I'm excited already 😊

Oh, that's good to know, thanks - is the Bonne Maman one the one with all the little pots of jam? As I was eyeing that one up if so last year and thought it sounded great ♥️
The caramel ones etc would be no good to me, although I suppose my teen DCs would happily take those ones off my hands 😁

I’ve had an utterly shit year and decided to treat myself to a SpaceNK, I’m really looking forward to a daily pamper

I always get the L’Occitane one. Last year I got DH a Bonne Maman one (as well as a Lindor one), it was lovely.

The jam one is great, lots of interesting flavours, I'd say 80% is just jam with a few caramel and Nutella type, but you can probably check the flavours and ingredients online.

I loved the Body Shop one!

I'm not usually a fan of toys, but I've got myself the Squishalong one, I just thought they looked cute and could become part of my decorations each year. Silly really, dd will enjoy doing it with me though.
