Some really good ideas already - I will be getting mine some phone gloves as a result. I’ll add a few more below:

a beanie or baseball cap
badges - DS likes quirky vintage ones
a CD - loads of teens are into physical media these days
A mug
stickers or googly eyes (DS obsessed. He is 17 🤦🏻‍♀️)
Plectrums for the guitar players
fun shoelaces

Following. Any ideas for very autistic teen?

That’s tricky as ‘very’ probably means something different to you and I. My son wouldn’t recognise a lot of the things mentioned as gifts, although great ideas. I’d go with favourite snacks, charging cables, something sensory, Christmas themed shower gel. I’d love ♡ some more ideas too.

Thanks for this thread, will be watching with interest. Have added grip strengthener to my list. Push up board went down well for my sporty sons last year. Nike t shirts and socks. Aftershave. American sweet selections. Gaming vouchers.

What’s a push up board? Will it fit in a stocking?

The teens like to put googly eyes on everything, last time my nephews visited (17 and 19) when they left I found that absolutely everything in my fridge had googly eyes stuck on to it.

My teen DS will be getting:

'Thumbs up' phone holder
Bamboo wildlife socks (an annual tradition - a % of the price goes to support the animal on the sock)
Choc orange
Puncture repair kit
Bike chain fidget
Mini fragrance
A trick of some sort (another tradition but a bit stumped this year)
Sweets
Greggs voucher

My lads are 13 and 14.
Not sure exactly but:

Superfast phone chargers
Stack of mini pringles (found in gift box in local shop so looks big)
I am thinking of getting little boxes and putting in a McDonalds and local chinese voucher
Nice pens for school
Tub of sweets
Football gear
New basketball
Nike socks
Sports bag

Depends how big the stocking. Ours have Santa sacks so they do hold bigger items. They are boards with handles that you can reposition in different places. Can find them on Amazon for about £14

My Senior Railcard aged friend is still very partial to a pack of googly eyes! You can get edible ones in the cake section if teen wants some fun with cakes or fruit personalisation.

Edible googly eyes is absolutely inspired - my nephews will be here for Christmas so those will go in their stockings, thanks @Phineyj

Winners from dd(14)’s stocking last year:

Rechargeable hand warmers shaped like penguins (she even takes these to school and discreetly puts these on her tummy when period pain hits)
Shoe smelly balls
Phone charging cable with Christmas lights along it
Her favourite mascara and other little make up bits - the Kiko Milano lip gloss is good as you can get them engraved in some of their shops
Instax film for her camera
Milk frother
Marvellous creations cadburys

And the most important one in our family - a Tunnocks tea cake!

have ds 15 and 13- this is from last year
-def agree with @Monr0e - pickle forks for gherkins were a hit( I found some with a rubber band that fitted to the jar)
-odd flavoured things they dare each other to eat (marmite caramel sauce)
-light reflective arm snap bands as they wear black coats to school in the winter
-fake moustaches
-money minder keyring with a tenner in it
-waterproof speaker for the shower
-comb and hair wax
-easy origami fold a day mini calendar

My DS will be nearly 15, he does have SEN but we usually put socks and pants in, it's a tradition now. Usually he and DD get a magazine, sweets and that fills it up with a few toys and craft bits. DS is also still into Hot Wheels.
Hand warmers would be good for DD who gets the bus to school.
I bet they'd both like selfie props!

Nomorecoconutboosts · Yesterday 22:32

Greggs voucher
sports socks
shower gels and other toiletries possible a ‘level up’ from what you buy as basics

MountainBiker · Yesterday 22:32

Push up board looks an excellent idea, thanks
So far mine will be getting:
'Grow your own pal' plant
Pastel coloured highlighter pens
A book
Chocolate coins

I’ve always had problems with ds18 stockings since he was about 10.
he’s getting ( what I’ve thought of so far)
a Waterstones voucher
a Deliveroo voucher
a book
a Nintendo amiibo
bottle of hot sauce
A Lindt teddy (one year I didn’t get him a Lindt bear he was outraged so we are back to that 😆)
bath bombs
a pouch of cadburys Biscoff chunks ( just to bulk out his stocking)
A new book mark
a pack of jujutsu kaisen badges
a jujutsu kaisen tshirt

and maybe something else anime I can find.

I have never played cards against humanity is it worth getting would DD be able to play with friends ?

Yes it's a great game, the questions are slightly grown up, so depends on your teens age. I think there's a family edition. My daughters played it in their teenage years and would play it now with friends.. Worth a look, it was super popular.
