Gift ideas for 1 year old

My DS turns 1 on Christmas Day so I need to think of a few gifts for his first birthday and Christmas! We will most likely do a half birthday in the summer but I want to mark the occasion.

I’m completely stuck for ideas. He has a 3 year old brother so we already have a lot of toys. Grandparents have bought him a baby walker. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I bought this for DGS (3 on Boxing Day) when he was 1. He loved it, he still plays with it now.

If you’ve not heard of them Jaques London have some really nice, long lasting toys for little ones. I’ve bought quite a few bits from there, too.

Busy books are a good idea, also.
