Gift ideas for 10 year old boy

[Jemma478]

Just trying to get some gift ideas for my 10yr old DS. He’s not really into anything specific, but doesn’t like football. Thanks 😊

At 10 my son still really liked Lego, and the Lego city sets. He still likes Lego now, but Minecraft versions.

We always get the Weird but True book for him and also the Guinness World records.

He used to like those Eugy models and so we got him different ones over the years of his favourite animals.

A big hit was buying a box and filling it with different bags of sweets and chocolate bars (and he generally asks for a refill now).

We also usually get a game of some kind. He likes Monopoly so we did lots of different versions over the years. Though that is obviously quite a long game. If your son does like games and wants something speedy the card game Flip 7 is good.

My 10yo boy also hates football. He has asked for:

• a better amp, for his guitar
• a lego set
• art supplies (he wants spray paint, i'm swithering!)
• a spiderman website shooter he has seen on youtube (and failed to make himself to his satisfaction, after 5 attempts)

I am also getting him:

• velvetiser (he loves hot chocolate)
• subscription to tinker box/kiwi/crunch lab or similar
• a tool box full of duct tape, string, velcro, clips, and any random things i can find to put in it.
• a switch game
• a few small bits and pieces like a frisbee, 3d puzzle, and small lego set.

I will likely get a big board game as a whole family present.

Does he have a favorite team or a favorite player? Could be something related the their uniform or a signed poster or something like that. Also if his friends would be coming over, you can make a sports quiz slideshow with questions and answers about their favorite athletes and teams and get them small prizes like stickers or pocket calendars.
