Nintendo Switch 2

[Chessingg]

Is anyone buying one for Christmas?

If so, which game are you going to get for it?
I am trying to look for ones which aren’t available on the Switch 1.

We have had one for a while. The screen is beautiful 😍

Depends what you already had on switch 1 I guess. If you didn't have Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, I would totally get either of those.

DS has endlessly played Hollow Knight Silksong and Mario Kart is great fun as always.

My son has asked for the new Pokemon pokopia

DS has that. I don't think you can go wrong if they're a Pokémon fan!

Thank you. I think the Pokemon ones seems popular and then seen one called star fox that looks good. And yes for sure Mario kart!

If you have a child aged 9-13ish then I highly, highly recommend Tomadachi Life for Switch 2! My 11yr old DD tells me every day how much she loves that game and she does regularly giggle her socks off whilst playing it! Apparently it took 10 years for them to develop & produce it…. Edited to add: It isn’t a game you can chat to other players on, you can share your characters & designs with other players if you choose to, but you cannot chat in any way so it’s safe.

Just to add - Although the name sounds similar, it’s of absolutely no resemblance to a Tamagotchi! 😆

The remake of Ocarina of Time is out in November and looks absolutely stunning! I've bought the new 40th anniversary console as well - Im beyond excited.

My DC are teens and we've had an OG switch for almost 10 years now - wonderful console, wonderful games!

This thread is making me think I must really look beyond Mario Kart and Minecraft for the DC!

Are there usually any deals closer to Christmas? There’s Amazon Prime day in a few days then of course Black Friday.

I am also debating on getting one. Son already has the switch and uses it a lot. But he likes the look of a few of the new games which are only available on the switch 2.

I had originally said no to husband to getting the 2 and to be honest son hasn’t asked for it. But with more and more games coming out I doubt they will be original switch compatible so do I just get him a 2?

I'm going to be getting Sports Resort, due out soon, (mainly for me) as I loved the original for Wii.
